The 44th International Congress of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), the largest event of its kind in Latin America, will take place on August 12 and 13 in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco.
This year’s theme is “Accelerating into the Future: Intellectual Property and Ethics Amidst Emerging Technologies.” The new tools of the digital economy, such as Artificial Intelligence, have been driving a significant transformation in society and the corporate world. However, these advancements can infringe on personal rights and challenge long-standing IP principles, sparking profound ethical and legal debates.
