Partnering with the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO), USIPA is hosting the 2025 Corporate IP Roundtable featuring HP’s Chief of IP, Ceyda Maisami. Over the past 12 years, Ceyda has ascended into the role of Chief IP counsel role leading the patent group at HP. The Corporate IP Roundtable’s fireside chat format will allow our registered participants to gain insights to her personal development as an IP practitioner and hear her legal and business commentary on various topics. Live Q&A will follow.
The Corporate 2025 IP Roundtable builds upon the traditions established by the Georgia IP Alliance in 2006. The 2025 Corporate IP Roundtable will feature hundreds of participants representing global companies, private practitioners, and academics throughout the world. The National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI) is a free, multi-day professional development training opportunity designed to support elementary, middle, and high school teachers as they increase their knowledge of concepts of making, inventing, and intellectual property (IP) creation and protection.
NSTI is designed to help teachers inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. The program is open to eligible K-12 teachers nationwide. It combines experiential training tools, practices, and project-based learning models.
NSTI 2024 will take place July 21-26, 2024, at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

GLIPA in Partnership with Innovation Council is hosting a Stakeholder Dialogue “Emerging Best Practices from IP Offices: Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach” in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday, July 8th, 2024.
This event will bring together IP offices to share their experiences putting in place frameworks to communicate, engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. The discussion will also touch on emerging best practices among IP offices for extending access to IP systems, particularly for people from historically underrepresented groups.
